great stay

The house was exactly as pictured. Very nice, clean linens and the pool in the backyard was a great bonus! We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. We would stay there again.

Great location! Host was quick to respond and the house was perfect for big family and dogs. Pool was an added bonus!

This place was just as described. Just a quick walk to the beach, or you can drive and park on the side of the road where there’s an empty lot, directly across from beach. The pool and outdoor bar were so much fun and we loved the privacy of the guest house, too. We stayed a couple of weeks and cooked a lot so I brought along a few kitchen things but otherwise it had everything you really need. It’s on a quiet dead end street so the nieces and nephews visited and enjoyed biking that road. Would stay again!

We were not disappointed in this booking. Everything was wonderful. Our group was able to spread out whether sitting at the pool or in the indoor breezeway. The house offered everything to everyone. I would rebook without hesitation. I highly recommend.

Ben was able to accommodate us last minute and the house was in great shape. The backyards an oasis and the beach’s not overcrowded. We’ll be back to this or another property ran by Ben in the future.

Positives: Very close to the beach. Beds were comfortable. Private area. The guest house was perfect for my teenage boys for their own space. Kitchen had ample cooking supplies, pots, pans, utensils etc. Ben's communication on issues was great. The outdoor patio bar with TV and refrigerator was great. 2 provided bicycles were also nice.

Negatives: We paid for the pool to be heated and it did not work on a consistent basis, I needed to fill it daily but it still would stop heating everyday and on cold weather days we needed a warm pool. There were no beach accessories such as chairs, towels, mats or anything that could be used, we had to go purchase all of what we needed. Not a great deal of restaurants nearby. There was no instruction manual to refer to when we had questions such as things nearby (restaurants, hospitals, grocery stores, etc.) also when trash/recycle day was.

Overall the house was great and we were pleased but a few details could have been better.

What can I say about this home? it felt like home the minute I walked in. It's not just a house.. it was perfect for my extended family. location is convenient for what we needed. hope to come back to this home next year

This house was great for what we needed, which was a nice, safe space for a bunch of teenagers on Spring Break. The pool and hot tub were awesome and the game room was really nice to have as an extra space for everyone to go to and to be loud. The beach is super close and Pier Park is within a 10-15 minute walk. It was also nice having a McDonald's, Arby's and Pizza place within a couple minutes walk.

The pool and hot tub were serviced/cleaned twice during the week, which was great. The beds and sheets were all super comfortable. With the futons in the garage, this house can sleep a lot of people!

We didn't give it 5 stars under cleanliness because the grill was so dirty and gross and we couldn't get it to light (we didn't want to clean it or fool with getting gas and/or figuring out why it didn't work, so we just didn't use it), the hammock was old and full of big holes (scary to sit it), the swinging bench was totally broken and unusable, and we had to thoroughly clean the kitchen cooktop before we could use it. These things didn't bother us too much and maybe will be fixed for the next guests.

Overall, it's the perfect house for a large group of people and we would stay here again, for sure.

Great location. got a couple wonderful beach days (so easy to get there - just walk to the right of the Beachcomber to public access). Gorgeous sunsets. Easy drive or walk to Pier and lots of restaurants. Game room was really fun but expect older games - not in perfect shape. Gulf view is real! Hot tub was great. Pool we didn’t us but was pretty. As others mentioned only one tp/paper towel etc so plan ahead.

Had a great experience house was nice with the pool and hot tub! Would be nicer with a heated pool or stay was in January soo it was a little cool but can’t complain hot tub was great!! One down side you need to provide the tp and other paper products...

This beach house has a great hot tub, fun game room, a pool, and is across the street from the beach. Our family of eight slept comfortably and Ben communicated quickly when we reached out.

Fantastic location. We were less than a 5 minute walk from the beach, the house had everything we could need with the availability of the hot tub and pool whenever we wanted

Bens place was only a 2 minute walk across the street to the beach. The pool was awesome and the the house was snug for 12 people but very well priced. The living room couch was broken and wouldn’t pull out but a representative immediately brought us a spare blow up bed. I would stay again
